Where we are now
In 2019, we were challenged to take part in a destination-wide initiative, registering as a hotel establishment in the BIOSPHERE commitment. This situation led to the creation of awareness at group level of the need to make an effective commitment to the community and the environment. The presentation of the BIOSPHERE commitment by the destination meant that we were able to clarify the company's intentions with regard to the environment and put in writing Sunway's commitment not only to the environment but also to the community and the main local stakeholders.
Sunway understands the Hospitality business as offering a service not only to our internal and external customers, but also to serve and collaborate with the main social agents of society.

- Coffee supplier substitution, with zero residue guarantee of its packaging.
- Elimination of plastic straws.
- Elimination of conference folders with plastic waste.
- Crystal Water Bottle Km0 at Acqua restaurant.
- Introduction of gel dispensers in apartments.
- Introduction of QR codes in Restaurants to reduce paper in physical menus.
- Creation of the Employee portal to reduce paper consumption in documentation and information.
- Therefore, office system to reduce paper consumption and work with digitized documentation.
- Elimination of advertising brochures, substitution for digital media.
